The Lineup:
Roderick McDaniel: Our headliner for the evening. Roderick is a powerhouse Austin comedian and Navy veteran whose boisterous, warm energy completely commands the room. Known for tackling topics like marriage and parenting with hilarious, unfiltered honesty, his debut comedy special I'm Here To Warn You and his podcast Welcome to the Trash Heap have made him a massive fan favorite across the Texas circuit.
Ben Buck: Providing the soundtrack for the night, Ben is a legendary Austin beatboxer, producer, and hip-hop artist. Having shared the stage with massive names like Ghostface Killah and Eric Andre, his deeply rooted musical background and innovative style bring an absolutely unmatched, electrifying energy to the Tokes N Jokes stage. The City of Austin even officially declared April 13th "Ben Buck Day"!
Emily Wade: Your host for the evening. Originally from Boston, Emily sharpened her comedy chops in Miami before taking the Austin scene by storm. She is the co-host of the viral podcast 2 Girls 1 Blunt and is known for her dark, bold, and brutally funny takes on dating and life. She's the kind of comic who looks sweet but gets away with saying the wildest things!
Jake Rhodes: Our featured act. A standout comedian and podcaster hailing from the San Marcos and Austin scenes. Jake is also a sharp-witted writer whose work in publications like The Barbed Wire covers everything from local punk scenes to deep-dive Texas stories. His raw, highly relatable storytelling makes him a compelling and hilarious voice on stage.
