Join us at The Green Room Austin for another edition of Tokes N Jokes, our weekly showcase of the best comedy and live music in Central Texas. Experience a pro-level show in a relaxed, speakeasy-style setting in North Austin.
The Lineup:
Mickey Housely: Our headliner and a true veteran of the stage. Mickey has been featured on Showtime at the Apollo, FOX’s Laughs, and Comcast SportsNet. A powerhouse improvisor and storyteller, Mickey is a fan favorite at comedy clubs and colleges across the country.
Mista Mozes: Providing the soundtrack for the night, Mista Mozes (Garrison Moore) is an Austin hip-hop/R&B staple and frontman for the funk band The Capitol. A multi-talented artist, his live sets blend soul, rap, and high-energy performance.
Britney Ledesma: Your host for the evening. Known for her "dark and dirty" style, Britney is a regular at Kill Tony and the host of the Just Okay podcast. She has shared the stage with names like Russell Peters and Steve Byrne.
Brett Forte: Our featured act. A winner of Edmonton's Funniest Person and a favorite at the Hollywood Comedy Festival, Brett is known for his sharp crowd work and "dangerous" comedy style that has seen him featured on The Fighter and The Kid.
Michael Moses: A rising star who has performed at Toronto’s Massey Hall and appeared on Comedy Night with Rick Mercer.
