The Lineup:
Chris Tan: An Austin-born former NYC investment banker who traded the corporate grind for the stage after a suggestion from his therapist. Known for his "quirky bravado" and a PHD in "Scaring His Mother," Chris is a master of breaking the fourth wall and high-energy riffing. A festival heavy-hitter, he has taken home "Best of the Fest" honors at 10,000 Laughs and performed at the Edinburgh Fringe and Altercation Comedy Festival. When he’s not headlining, he produces the popular The Laughing Stock showcase at Alamo Drafthouse Mueller.
Nate Deal: A versatile staple of the Austin music scene, Nate provides the soulful, acoustic soundtrack that defines the Tokes N Jokes vibe. Known for engaging live performances at venues like Anderson Mill Pub and The Green Room, his sets blend smooth vocals with a magnetic stage presence that perfectly sets the mood for comedy.
Destiny Lalane: A 4’11” powerhouse originally from Long Island, Destiny is a stand-up comedian and tech recruitment consultant. She carved out a unique niche in the comedy world with sharp, viral sets focused on the absurdities of modern work, AI in recruiting, and digital dating. She has been featured on Amazon Prime, published in Refinery29, and hosts the Recruiting School series, bringing a brilliantly analytical yet hilarious lens to the stage.
Sam Prickett: A fan-favorite from the Kill Tony orbit (notably Episode 556) and a frequent guest on The William Montgomery Show. Sam is a staple of the Austin scene, recognized for his high-energy, unpredictable, and idiosyncratic style that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats.
